To agree the minutes of the previous meeting held on 20 May 2015

Appointments Committee RESOLVED that the minutes of the previous meeting held on 20^th May 2015 be approved as a true and accurate record.

Proposed resolution:

THAT the press and public be excluded from the proceedings of the Cabinet meeting during consideration of Exempt items on the agenda on the grounds that it is likely, in the view of the nature of the business to be transacted, that were members of the public to be present, there would be disclosure of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 as amended.

5.1  Mr Paul introduced the report to the Committee. The Committee was required to appoint two Sub Committees to oversee the appointment of the two new Group Director posts within the Council’s proposed new management structure.

5.2  Appointments Committee RESOLVED:

To establish an Appointments Sub Committee for the Group Director of Children, Adults and Community Health position. The Sub Committee membership will be Mayor Pipe (Chair), Cllr Bramble, Cllr McShane, Cllr Munn and Cllr Levy.

5.3  Appointments Committee RESOLVED:

To establish an Appointments Sub Committee for the Group Director of Place, Neighbourhoods and Housing position. The Sub Committee membership will be Mayor Pipe (Chair), Cllr Demirci, Cllr Glanville, Cllr McKenzie and Cllr Steinberger.
