This item aims to review the nature and scale of this issue in Hackney and local initiatives to support schools, children and their families.

Adolescents Entering Care - Scoping Report (21.20) PDF 50 KB Scrutiny may undertake in-depth reviews to assist the policy-making function of the Council. The Commission have agreed to review the increasing number of adolescents entering care, and the Councils approach to supporting this cohort of young people with a view to developing and improving local practice.
