The Corporate Plan sets out how the Council will deliver its priorities and objectives over the next four years, whether they are a continued focus on day to day work; or on delivering longer term objectives in line with the Mayor’s priorities and the council’s values.

That the Corporate Plan 2018 – 2022 set out in Appendix A to the report was approved.
REASONS FOR DECISION
To set out the Council’s priorities and key areas of work for the next four years.
DETAILS OF ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS CONSIDERED AND REJECTED
The Corporate Plan is a critical element of the Council’s service and financial planning process. If the Corporate Plan is not approved then it will put the council at severe reputational and financial risk.
Minutes:
Mayor Glanville introduced the report and made reference to the supplementary pack, which detailed the Corporate Plan 2018-2022. He took the opportunity to thank all of those involved in producing the plan. It was noted that it would be reported to Council next for adoption.
RESOLVED
That the Corporate Plan 2018 – 2022 set out in Appendix A to the report was approved.
