Parking

·  Parking team confirmed tickets are issued to vehicles on footpaths and double yellow lines, residents should continue to report future instances

·  Vehicles using estate without permits should be reported to Parking team (same enforcement methods as street parking)

·  Separate meeting with Transport team and involved residents was held to look measures in draft strategy, awaiting further details in Sept 2015

Cycling

·  Banners installed around London Fields encouraging slower cycling, borough-wide speed limit should also help

·  Works at London Fields / Broadway Market junction don’t clearly mark out cycle lane -> resident to email Emma Plouviez

·   

Drains at zebra crossing

·  Raised zebra crossing prevents rain water entering storm drain leading to large puddles -> report to Streetscene

Basement conversions

·  Recent partial collapse of house in the ward, resident has reported case to Building Control -> speak to Planning re stronger and enforceable conditions required for planning permission

BBQs & noise

·  Improvements with management of BBQs from previous years, hopefully park stewards will continue in 2015

·  Loud music from stereos and buskers, residents should report and record all instances to gather evidence

Swimming concessions

·  No concessions for over 60’s at Lido -> clarify with Leisure services

Broadway Market

·  Ongoing issue of business dumping waste or gaining access via Alden Estate, residents should continue reporting cases to Estate Manager & Trading Standards

·  Encroachment onto pavements -> report to Streetscene

·  Idea of pedestrianising Broadway Market following example of the Narrow Way to restrict vehicle use -> explore in upcoming Forums, request input from Streetscene / Neighbourhoods
