A chance to share your views on the Council’s Transport Strategy

Officers from Hackney Council’s transport team talked about the Draft 10 year Transport Strategy for the Borough.  Residents are encouraged to take a look at the Executive Summary  and to fill in the online questionnaire  or to send in any views to the transport team using the movegreener@hackney.gov.uk  email. 

Copies of the strategy and questionnaires are also available in local libraries or you can call to request one on020 8356 8023.

The deadline for comments is 5pmon Friday 24 October 2014.

Early discussions on local cycling and walking routes

Transport officers also talked about potential to make improvements along Regents Row near the Canal, to improve the environment there for cycling and walking.

Hackney Cycling Campaign put forward their ideas about options for reducing rat running in local streets near London Fields. 

Residents can also share information about transport issues with the transport team at any time using the interactive map tool on the Council’s website.
